DirectionsFAQ's | Weekend Overview | Glossary of Terms | Character Creation | What to Bring To Hickory RunCamp Daddy Allen: Take Interstate 80 to exit 274 (PA-534/HICKORY RUN STATE PARK EXIT) At the end of the ramp, turn onto route 534 East. This will take you through Hickory Run State Park. After approx 10 miles, you will see the State Park office on the right hand side of the road. Approx 1 mile past the office, make a left onto Sand Spring Road. Follow Sand Spring Road for approx 1/2 mile to a "Y". Bear left at the "Y" toward Boulder Field / Camp Daddy Allen. Follow for an additional 1/2 mile to the Camp Shehaqua / Camp Daddy Allen intersection. Turn left toward Camp Daddy Allen. Follow for 0.2 miles to the camp enterance on the left. Make a left onto the dirt road entering Camp Daddy Allen. Once in the camp, bear left at the first "Y". Stop at the first cabin (on the right). This is the Logistics building. Camp Shehaqua: Take Interstate 80 to exit 274 (PA-534/HICKORY RUN STATE PARK EXIT) At the end of the ramp, turn onto route 534 East. This will take you through Hickory Run State Park. After approx 10 miles, you will see the State Park office on the right hand side of the road. Approx 1 mile past the office, make a left onto Sand Spring Road. Follow Sand Spring Road for approx 1/2 mile to a "Y". Bear left at the "Y" toward Boulder Field / Camp Daddy Allen. Follow for an additional 1/2 mile to the Camp Shehaqua / Camp Daddy Allen intersection. Follow past the first left dirt road which is the entrance to Camp Daddy Allen, and follow the road straight onto a dirt road towards Camp Shehaqua. You will pass a large field on your right, and the first building you see is the Logistics Building. It will be directly in front of you after a short ways on the road.
To Camp KresgeFrom the East / West: Take Interstate 80 to Exit 273 - White Haven/Freeland. From the Exit ramp turn on to Route 940 East. Follow 940E into White Haven for 0.3 miles to Stop sign. Go straight at Stop sign. Road becomes Route 437 North. Follow 437 North for 3.5 miles to the Camp Kresge entrance at top of hill. (As you approach, you will see a large green sign on the hill to the right.) Turn Left into camp entrance. This is a dirt road. Follow Camp Kresge Lane for 1.8 miles. Logistics is first building on the right (brown building with a large deck). Alternate route from points North: Take Route 309 (South) to Mountain Top. Turn Left on to Route 437 South. Follow 437S for 7.5 miles to the Camp Kresge entrance. As you approach, you will see a small green sign on the right.) Turn Right into the camp entrance. This is a dirt road. Follow Camp Kresge Lane for 1.8 miles. Logistics is first building on the right (brown building with a large deck). Alternate route from points South: Take the northeast extension of the Pa turnpike Route 476 north to the Pocono exit. At the end of the exit ramp you will come to a 4 way intersection. Make the right hand turn onto route 940 west. Follow this about 4 miles into White haven. Cross the bridge and proceed up the hill to the intersection with route 437. Turn right onto 437 north toward Mountaintop and Wilkes-Barre. Camp is approximately 4 miles away on the left hand side of the road. Before you reach camp you will pass Sitko’s barn (red restaurant on your left). 437 comes up a large hill directly before camp. On the right side of the road is a large sign for Camp 400 ft ahead. Immediately after the crest of the hill the camp gates are on your left. Turn into the camp entrance. This is a dirt road. Follow Camp Kresge Lane for 1.8 miles. Logistics is first building on the right (brown building with a large deck).
